KDTechGroup (“we”, “us”) is the studio behind Tilefold and the other products on kdtechgroup.com. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit this website or write to us, what we do with it, and the choices you have. If you have a question, write to privacy@kdtechgroup.com.
The short version
- This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts.
- It has no sign-up, no forms and no accounts, and our servers keep no request logs for it.
- Its fonts are served from this website itself, so no font service learns that you visited.
- If you email us, we use your message only to answer it.
- Each of our products has its own privacy policy, which covers that product.
- We do not sell or share your personal information, and we show no ads.
This website
kdtechgroup.com is a set of static pages. It sets no cookies, uses no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts, and loads nothing from other companies’ servers. Our servers do not keep request logs for the website.
- If you pick a language, your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage so the site remembers it. It stays on your device; clear your browser’s site data to remove it.
- To help us fix problems, the page keeps a short list of what happens on it (sections reached, buttons used, language changes) in your browser’s memory. It is never sent anywhere and disappears when you close the tab.
- Like any website, the pages are delivered by a hosting provider, which handles your IP address and browser details to send you the page.
Our products and downloads
Our products are covered by their own privacy policies, which explain what each one collects. Tilefold’s policy is at tilefold.com/privacy.html, and it also covers downloading Tilefold and its update checks, which are served from releases.tilefold.com. Products shown on this website as in development, coming soon or exploring are not yet available and collect nothing. Each will have its own policy before it launches.
When you write to us
If you email us, we receive your address, your name if you include it, and whatever you write. We use it only to answer you and to keep a record of requests such as privacy requests. We keep correspondence for as long as we need it for that, and you can ask us to delete it.
Who processes your information
We use a small number of trusted service providers, and only for the purposes above: cloud hosting for the website, and an email provider for messages you send us. We do not sell or share personal information, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not combine it with information from other sources. We may disclose information if the law requires it.
Where your information is stored
KDTechGroup is based in the United States, and the information described here is stored in the US.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to privacy@kdtechgroup.com from the address in question. We answer within 30 days and may need to confirm the request comes from you. Depending on where you live (for example, California or the European Union), you may have further rights under local law, and we honor them. We will not treat you differently for using any of these rights.
Security
We use industry-standard administrative and technical safeguards:
- Encryption in transit and at rest. The website is served only over HTTPS, and our stored files are encrypted.
- Restricted access. Our storage is private and reachable only through our delivery service, and access is limited to authorized personnel.
- Data minimization. The website collects nothing about you, and we keep only the email you choose to send us.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information, and we will notify you of a breach that affects it as the law requires.
Children
This website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, write to privacy@kdtechgroup.com and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, we update the date at the top of this page. If a change affects how we use information we already hold, we will say so on this website before it takes effect.
